Land consolidation is an important means to optimize land-use structure and improve the level of intensive economical use land, it also a critical measure coordinate economic social development promote cultivated-land protection. Therefore, scientific advancement land great significance comprehensively rural revitalization build modern agricultural power. In this study, we explore history China’s since 1949 divide into five stages: start-up stage (1949–1977), exploration (1978–1997), rapid (1998–2007), quality improvement (2008–2018) comprehensive (2019 present). different stages, there are obvious differences in national policy orientation on consolidation.
